Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, effectively translated into technical specifications and aligned with regulatory compliance. The BA collaborates with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate user and system requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the system lifecycle. Throughout the project and system lifecycle, the BA bridges communication between Business Users, Technical teams and QA teams, helping to ensure the final system is both fit for purpose and compliant with regulatory requirements. Their involvement is crucial from initial planning through implementation, testing, and change control.
What We Do
Key Contributor to User-Dependent Activities
Lead or support activities that typically rely heavily on business users—such as walkthroughs, UAT preparation, and requirement clarification—minimizing delays and resource strain.
Process Mapping & Gap Analysis
Analyze and document current vs. future state processes to identify system gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks.
Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Lead sessions with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and prioritize business needs and project objectives.
User & System Requirements Documentation
Document clear, concise, and testable requirements that form the foundation for design, development, and validation activities.
Functional Specification Development
Convert business needs into actionable functional specifications, ensuring alignment with technical implementation.
Stakeholder Communication & Alignment
Serve as the central communication bridge across business users, technical teams, and QA to maintain clarity and direction on Business and functional requirements.
Requirements Traceability & Change Impact Analysis
Ensure complete traceability of requirements across design and testing, and assess the impact of changes on business and system functionality.
Support for GxP Compliance & Validation Activities
Contribute to validation deliverables and ensure that system and process requirements align with GxP regulatory expectations.
End-to-End Project Lifecycle Involvement
Provide continuous BA support from project initiation through implementation, testing, change control, and post-deployment support.
